During college, you knew you wanted to focus on the AI aspect. And what was the technology like then? Because I know it's been developing significantly in the past few years. In 2009 or 2010, a lab at Google published a paper about what they had accomplished with deep learning. It was led by a man named Andrew Ng who later left to go to Baidu.
