Vigo and John's Struggles

I love when Vigo pulls out his, his like handwritten phone, but he's got his glasses on. But just those these little like golden comedic moments that they have like sprinkled in throughout the movie are like just perfection. He sort of attempts right like a diplomatic resolution. The protagonist discovers and comes to understand the antagonist McGuffin. So what did you have as the antagonist object of desire? I have the that Vigo wants to kill John in order to protect his son.
