President Trump's Efforts to Overturn the 2020 Election

Rana McDaniel, chair of the Republican National Committee, testified before this committee that President Trump and his attorney, Dr. John Eastman, asked her to arrange for the fake electors to rehearse the process of casting their fake votes. The president ultimately relented only because the entire leadership of the Department of Justice as well as his White House counsel threatened to resign. This was something done not only with the president's knowledge but also with his direct participation.
