Who Would Be Using Ear Trompels?
There is nothing discreet about an ear trumpet. Most of the people using them were actually very well off. They weren't seen as a kind of social stigma or anything. If you hadn't ear trumpet, no might be so decorated or nasor yell. A good example is elizabeth vase who had two or three ear trumpets hanging to her wrists and slung around her neck,. Like a neck to always have it at hand and use it whenever necessary. So she accessorized it and used it as bracelets and necklaces.
