The Importance of Love in Understanding Sin

Death is domination of the lower order over a higher order. Sin therefore is a deliberate violation of the law of God. When we violate those laws, we hurt ourselves and break a relationship. To be a sinner is our distress, but to know that we are a Sinner is our hope. The hope is the sacrament of peace.
