Is There a Shift in Development of the Book?
I want to talk about a the time period you stat of the seventies. I think there was a sense that there was a lot of energy and activity put into a state based supports for development of book tures am in the 19 seventies. But then, of course, after the 19 Seventies, with all the phenomena that tend to be associated with neo liberalism, i would associate it with just economic turbulence,. And with am, sort of am the withdrawal of state base supports for things like a culture in the arts, the narrative and the sense of possibility, i think, turns.
