Xenophon's Man in the Greek Phalanx Who Doesn't Move
The Greeks do actually win their bit of the battle. opposite them was a small cavalry force, about 500. There is light infantry and there is an Egyptian heavy infantry sort of section as well. And then the Persian line is also fronted by Cythe Chariots. But it's also interesting from an individual perspective because we actually have an account in Xenophon of a man in the Greek phalanx who doesn't move.
