Toasted Barrels Are Just Really Potent

Toasted barrels are very, very potent in terms of flavour. They put out a lot of flavor because there's no charrt layer to go through. Charring disrupts the toast profile. So we design for thos three vires. We create custom house toast profiles for distilleries on a weekly basis. The extraction period is anywhere between two to four years. But you still have a lot of flavors left in those barrels. Now if you use them once it's not really a new barrel and takes some things out that could't just be called straight bourbon whisky.
