I Left Mormonism, I Left Every Brand I'd Ever Had, I Don't Tell a Single Lies
I decided that for a year I would not tell a single lie, and everything fell apart. My father was a big cheese in the Mormon church and he had also sexually abused me as a child. And so when I left, it was very public and it wasn't just one little church member leaving,. It was a big, big deal. The pain of getting back into my integrity was like a surgery that was extremely painful but I knew it was helping.
