The Importance of Shaking Things Up Early in Your Life
I knew there had to be a moment that you know you shook things up a bit. So for me it was high school my parents had divorced and my entire school actually kind of rebelled. I think we got to the point where we realized that the adults in the room who were teaching us stuff didn't know more than we did. The quality of our high school was significantly worse than the quality of our junior high or elementary school. And so the teachers were just not as rigorous or capable, they would often do things that felt disingenuous to us.
