I like to use the example of if no one ever marries me, which is the Alma Taddima poem. It was written by an 18-year-old Victorian girl from England. I ended up at first writing a melody and a tune that was very light-hearted. That wasn't exactly what I wanted the poem to reflect because I felt there was a melancholy in it.
