The Frontal Lobe Is Intimidating

The frontal lobe is actually kind of several lobes. The functions anteriorly are very complex and to some extent, integrative. And the most posterior aspect of the frontal lobe is the primery motor cortex. This is arranged in a somatatopic organization as a homunculus. So there's a very large hand area. There is a very large face and mouth area. But mediately that aspect of the frontal lobe responsible for motor function of leg and foot will often give you lateral weakness on your right side.
