CNN's Strategy to Make It More of a Fixture in People's Lives
Don't let politics be your north star if you want to ride out the decline of linear television. I think at a broader level, hopefully the strategy is thinking a lot less about the linear product and more about how to make CNN a fixture in people's lives beyond the traditional television screen. It is a very steep uphill climb in this sort of media climate but it is an extremely strong brand despite everything that has happened to it over the last 10 years.
