'I'm Out of a Job'

If we deny jesus and follow ourselves, we end up run by desire. Desire in it of itself is not bad, unless if you buy the buddhas take on it. But i would argue it's one of the main things that gets us out of bed in the morning. We make our desires ultimate because they are all we have. This is what happen when we are living apart from god. To live with uncrucified affections and desires is simply a matter of putting them in the ultimate position in our lives. Whatever we want becomes the most important thing.
