Virgil wrote four commentaries on Genesis one, commentaries on Psalms, almost every book in the testament. His sermons are a million and a half words. He didn't give up rhetoric as he had the function of it, which is to praise the empire. And I wonder if he fully understood that there would be so many centuries of people reading this conversation.
