The Discourse of the AA

The AA has a bit of reputation as being, it's a little bit of a kind of bubble. I feel like you tried to do a lot of things there that were very open which strikes me as contradictory to the perceived reputation of the AA. The club is actually, in some ways, a more useful platform than conventional or more typical ones today. And my favourite kind of writers have always been able to appeal to both the high, bright old world of the academy and the so-called low, bright world of popular discourse.
