What Is the Latest Criteria for Calling a Code Stroke?
When someone comes in with an obvious stroke, it's very easy to just kind of hit the button and say, code stroke. But really, those two things that we often miss telling the stroke team about is the patient's baseline functional status and then the degree of deficit. It has to be a disabling enough stroke for the stroke team to be interested.
