It's just a bunch of foolishness, but it'll be over real soon. The Electoral College meets on December 14th, and we never have to think about any of this crap ever again. It really doesn't matter who wins; there's not going to be any significant policy change. And so what's happening here is less of a question as far as the voters are concerned than it is of not undermining people's faith in the electoral process. That's precisely what Trump is aiming to do - that's actually his goal. But clearly, and probably this is a lifetime affliction for him, the entirety of the world just revolves right around Donald Trump.
