Is There Power in Words?

One night, he was jolted awake from what he knows was a vivid and orrible nightmare. But before he even had a second to breathe and gather his thoughts, he felt the bed slam against the floor. When i thought about it that day, when i went home, i related the experience to my mam. She seemed surprised, but she laughed when she saw how confused i was. Could her leaving that home, in my dad's experience, be because his actions had hurt our family? Or could it have just waited for the moment when the negative energy was highest in that house? Whatever the cause, i think there is power in words that are said with full intent.
