The Benin Bronzes at the British Museum

The British Museum is holding out on repatriating the Benin bronzes. The museum itself represents a fragile, national psyche for Nigeria's current democracy. A woman in our tour group agrees there was a bit of a massacre that brought the bronzes to the museum. "I can only say for myself maybe that is possibly not the right place to trust now," she says.
