There have been battalions willing to take people on, give them a bit of training and then send them to the front lines. I think anyone who goes out there has their eyes fully open to that but they choose to face those dangers anyway. And what you hear from people is that look when the rounds start going down, you've got rounds from Russian tanks dropping by your ears and bullets whistling through the air,. You certainly find out pretty quickly if you're up to this. When you go home very quickly others find they've got a head for it and they stay and they feel a sense of purpose.
