The film is about a woman who has been left alone after the death of her husband. Harper marlow decides to spend some time alone in the small village of cotson following the death of james. In flashbacks, we see that harper told james she wants a divorce, leading him to threaten her with his suicide and eventually strike her. She goes for a tranquil walk in the woods that ends with her spotting a naked man standing near an abandoned building.
