Teaching Mathematics in Year Six
When teaching in year six and you're building towards a certain set of tests, sometimes you end up dividing up the time in that way. One of the things I do is leave a kind of chunk of time at the end of those three weeks for flexible lessons. It's also like if you choose the problem carefully, you know, you can have a problem that encourages children to practice things you may have taught her previously. If you chose your problems really, really carefully, I think five would be the perfect number. And yeah, we want to get paid in dollars now, it don't be because I'm not good.
