The Show Don't Tell Thing
So often, you really are kind of reaching back for what is the simplest that this thing could possibly be. And then when they add theirs to your imaginary, like needs, like now it's like, now we're just chasing ghosts. So much engineering is about our own self-esteem. The pain we feel when someone touches our components. You want to use more descriptive language to give them a sense of what's happening and let their brains sort of fill in the gaps.
