The Big Rock

The rock itself is split into two halves, and it is predominantly gray, pink and white in color. Is made from quartzite, which is a material that we have mentioned before associated with paleolithic stone tools. The nearest possible source for such a rock would be near the athabascar river. But this is about 500 kilometers north of where big rock sits to day. So it is really quite a mystery.
