The Monologue
The show was taped in front of a live audience, but they didn't like the response. Larry asked Oina how long would it take to learn a monologue and she said 'a couple of minutes' He then told her about an inspiration he got from his friend who had been hitting golf balls into the ocean for practise. So when they had that inspiration,. they wrote this monologue for george to reveal that he went out and pulld the goel ot of the blom. There's no time or place to rehearse it, so they put some screens up between us and audience. And what you see when you watch that episode is the first and only time we shot that
