The 23rd Song - Save Me From the Horns of the Wild Oxen
In Psalm 22, David says he is in the middle of enemy territory. This region was known to be important to the Canaanite religion. The term wild oxen is a reference to the orrocks, which was a giant strain of cattle and probably one of the faces on the cherubina. And I think it's a beautiful metaphor because when we're confronted by cosmic rulers over this present darkness, they are not angry at us but God.
