It's presumably significant that a lot of these leaders are nationalists. And they're drawing on nationalism for support. How important an aspect of their pitch is the nationalist pitch? Well, it's important, it's much less strong, they say, nationalism of Nazi Germany,. These are the regimes which pretend to be democracies. Democracies don't really have ideologies.
