What I Like About Descartes and Liebnitz

Popper was talking about actual science, which none of the others ever really did. He didn't care about definitions and the ultimate foundations of knowledge. We want to know what this knowledge stuff is and how it grows and changes the world. In comparison to Wittgenstein and Kant and many of the classics, it's just night and day. Now again, I quite like Descartes and Liebnitz, but I like them now in retrospect in the same way that I kind of like Lord of the Rings.
