Learning Through Podcasts, Webenars and Social Media Platforms
We discussed podcasts, webenars and social media platforms as digital methods of education. Our literature ofview showed that over all, there's good, high satisfaction for most people who use podcasts. There are also moderate or strong data supporting learning outcomes for podcast and webanars used for education. While learning outcome data for facebook and twitter do work very well for improving learning outcomes ind specific formal training settings. We just need more research in that area to try to figure out. And now finally, i just want to briefly review the main points of this talk. So our overall takeaway is that digital methods have important advantages compared to traditional learning. But we think that ditional methods can supplement traditional methods
