Doing great work isn't enough to get promoted if nobody understands the value you're bringing to the table.
AJ and Johnny break down why talented professionals often struggle to make their contributions visible without feeling like they're bragging or taking credit from their team. Through the story of a financial professional who wanted to advance his career, they explore how waiting to be noticed, downplaying your role, and backing down under pressure can keep your expertise hidden from the people making decisions.
You'll learn how to communicate your contributions without overshadowing coworkers, make clear recommendations that demonstrate your judgment, and handle pushback without becoming defensive. You'll also discover how simple if-then plans can help you speak up in important meetings, navigate competing priorities, and build the professional visibility that creates opportunities for advancement.
