Ruben Navarrette: It seems that the double digit victories by Governor DeSantis in Florida, Governor Abbott in Texas, and if not double digit, sizable victory by Governor Kemp and Georgia actually is evidence for what you're saying. He says they are willing to get beyond the traditional business issues that animated the old business wing of the party while still being responsive to them. "They were able to win in those suburban areas that did not support other Republicans to the same degree," he said.
