Is the P Value a Predictor of the Replica Rate?

The p value that a paper had was predictive of how likely it was to replicate if someone tried to do the same experiment again and see whether they got the same finding. When the original study p value was at most point, oh, one,. So it was point on or less about 72% replicated. On the other hand, when the p value is greater than point on one, only about 48% replicated. It's a pretty big difference. And so at least from that result, empirically, it looks like a small p value really does make a more reliable result.
