I feel like our local chapters are autonomous, which means that we don't have a standard methodology for organizing. I also think that one of these things that we're learning as a union is that these are really different kinds of organizing cultures. There's not one that's necessarily going to be the right one. When we see something that what works is a local chapter that is growing and that people take ownership over. Then it's our job to corral them to teach each other to use the union as an archive of everything that we've done"
