Yvonne Eale suffered inexpressibly. He would go to the law courts, enter into conversation with his colleagues and sit carelessly as was his want. But in the midst of those proceedings he would begin its own gnawing work. It drew his attention to itself; it did not make him take some action but only that he should look at it. To save himself from this condition, Yvonne Eales each looked for constellations, new screens, and new screens were found,. For a while they seemed to save him, but then they immediately felt a piece, or rather became transparent, as if it penetrated them.
