i'm a huge library booster. If i hadn't gone into academia, i very well may have gone into being a librarian. I was all about the books, not the other media. Some libraries are still going to be very much wetded to a deydecimal kind of taxonomy that is so rooted in colonialism and racism. Others are really trying to push outsideof and try to bring other ways of of understanding how knowledge can be shared. And also kind of whatter, what's our accountability in making sure that we're not extracting knowledge from people? Because not everything should be readily available.
