CHAPTER

Senate Philibuster History

The filibuster doesn't actually appear anywhere in the constitution. The most persistent myth is that the filibuster was part of the founding father's constitutional vision for the senate. It is said the upper chamber senators themselves have been instrumental in perpetuating the myths, because it serves their political purposes. And so the more mythic it is, the harder harder to reach and harder to take down. But i boiled it down enough that i think a o cut comes comseworbs, sarah and gregory were there to help create a kind of road map to senate philibuster history for the senators themselves.
