What Kind of Weight Do They Carry?

There are stories from ancient China about lie detection methods based on getting people to chew grains of rice. The idea is that if you get them to chew rice and the rice comes out dry and sticky then their mouths are dry, therefore they were lying. There's this mad story from India where it basically involves like a donkey whose tail is covered and sits. You send your two suspects in and say, pull on the donkey's tail and the donkey will reveal who's telling the truth and who's lying. So that's another rudimentary form of lie detection yet. Human beings are very good at lying. We lie from very early ages. Trying to find ways of counter lying goes back a long way
