Two incidents to small border wars in the balkans at that time, yuguslavia, albania and then greece. The league of nations threatened to use sanctions if they didn't restrain themselves. And both of those times, that seemed to work, and the situation was quickly deescalated. But, you know, sort of small skale incidents, but they had a powder keg potential. They could set off another war.
