The Perceptron Learning Algorithm

Jan Lecun: Frank Rosenblatt came up with the perceptron learning algorithm. He was a psychologist, but he had very broad interests in AI or electrical engineering. This was a time when there was early interest in machine vision for military applications and optical character recognition - Jan Lecun. In fact, one of the first successes was of neural networks was handwritten digit classification for the post office. But I want to finish the story with Martin, Minsky and Pappert, because this really had a huge impact.
