There's definitely some ethical implications to this. People are wondering does this violate the dead donor rule, which states that organs can only be retrieved after the patient is dead and procurement cannot proceed or sorry, cause the donor's death as well. And then there's also resubing cardiac activity, which I think creates some concerns. So until we have some national guidelines in the United States, it makes it a little bit harder,. But there's definitely certain groups at major institutions that are utilizing this to procure DCD hearts and just overall expand the donor pool.
