Hack Shops - Hack Shop?

When you enter a shop, there's a shopkeeper at the door and the shop's inventory is on the ground. To buy an item, you walk over to it and you pick it up. If you don't keep pretending how much it's worth, then you hit the payment key, pay the money, and the item is yours. Pick up an item though, the shopkeeper stands in the way of the door. Right. So you can find some other way out of the room though, then you can keep the item for free. Sheeran has taken this idea from hack but either they were smart enough to do that or have used another system instead. Is it also possible
