The Juice Isn't Worth the Squeeze

When researching acknoledgy for a detection, how much inside the rabbit hole does it go? To me, as long as you're always learning, the juice is ways worth te squeeze. So that's one of the things that takes the longest to learn, specifically in reverse engineering. And if you didn't go down those wrong paths in the first place and waste your time, well, then you wouldn't have learned that in the first places.
