CHAPTER

How Can Movement Work Against Your Mental Health?

I imagine that there's a place where movement can actually work against your mental health, and that's if you're too hard on yourself for your performance. How do you suggest that people approach movement in a way so that it doesn't end up working against their mental health? Make it positive, enjoyable forgive yourself if you skip irl work out, like it shouldn't be something you're militant about. This is something i find myself telling my son when he gets upset that i only let him watch half an hour of t v. And mit, be happy for tv that you watched, and not sad for the t v that you don't watch.
