The Uneasy Trio of Slender Man

Peyton Lutner, who Morgan had known since kindergarten, was not a loner. Peyton befriended Morgan in fourth grade and they soon bonded over their mutual love of cats. At the beginning of sixth grade, when Morgan began hanging out with a new girl named Anissa Weir, she felt like the new girl was cruel toward her. The school drama among the three 12-year-old girls coincided with an intensifying obsession that Anissa and Morgan had for Slender Man. Felt up with the increasingly tense situation, Peyton decided she desperately wanted out of the friendships.
