The Triassic Period

Life began almost indecently, quickly after the Earth formed. I'm going to go out on an even greater limb here and suggest that life is the normal progression in any rocky Earth-like planet. So, there don't seem to be any particular peculiar special conditions for life to evolve. I think it just happens anyway. Well, that's quite a hopeful feeling for life in the universe. You know, we go through all these different periods in Earth history. I wondered if you had a favourite one. Oh, very much so. My favourite period is the Triassic period. The reason I like it so much is because it's cruelly underrated.
