The Power of Dreams

The contents of dreams can be interpreted to have power and authority over other people. Because they feel like they're less under our control than thoughts in the waking state, they can take on a kind of third party authority. If either of us were to tell our spouses to report in the morning, hey, I had a dream in which I was wearing this green suit. It's weird. I don't own a green suit. And then you kept reporting the same dream over and over again. There's so many ways to tease it apart and try and make sense of it when ultimately the signal itself is irrational.
