Half of the beautiful marbles which are drawn to the Parthenon were destroyed even by or destroyed or lost to humanity. The British Museum would gladly lend their pieces as they do to many museums from items in their collection all the time. And it seems like the stumbling block here is for the Greek government to accept that. But there is a little element of hope in recent years when Palermo Fragment was lent to Salinas archaeological museum in Palermo.
