The Importance of Safety in a Conversation
I often want to talk to them about things like the patriarchy and what does that mean? In other words, the way society forms its values. And you need a really good example. One of my examples I wrote about not long ago was just I fell asleep in the back of an Uber. Because of safety doesn't mean they're weak in any way. It just means they have to think about things in a different way. Some of my clients and the communities, I've got the gift of working in and listening to lots of young men walk around for similar reasons because they fear, fear of violence.
