Parka's Journey to Europe

On June 10th, Mungo Park would see another European for the first time in two years. At Pizania, Park would be able to clean himself up and put on new clothes. On November 24th, Parka set sail from Antigua aboard the Chesterfield. He would land in Falmouth, England on December 22nd. The Niger River had been found, but no one had yet reached the fabled city of Timbuk II. So next time on Explores, we will conclude the story of Mungo park as he heads back to West Africa with a new expedition. This one will be bigger and grander. Only we will see that bigger and
